The studio is located on Bolshoy Prospekt of the Petrogradskaya side, in the former apartment building of merchant P.T.Badaev. It was built by Pavel Suzor, the author of the famous “Zinger” company house, Voroninsky baths with fountains and a large number of residential buildings..
Despite being an architectural monument, not many architectural decor elements has been preserved, except original layout and stucco’s fragments.
It took a thorough restoration, replacement of engineering communications and large-scale work to strengthen the load-bearing structures.
We tried to convey the atmosphere of St. Petersburg intellectual chic in our studio and create an interior that would reflect the diversity of styles of the twentieth century: eclecticism, Art Deco and modernism.
